New Adult Sunday School

A new adult Sunday School class begins on Sunday, March 1.  We will be going through the book Connected: My Life in the Church by Dr. Thom S. Rainer.  This study provides a Biblical understanding of what it means to be a part of the body of Christ through a study of the Book of Ephesians.  This is not a plea for more activity.  Rather we need to have our hearts directed to love what Jesus loves.  He loves the church—His body.  “Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it.” (Ephesians 5:25).  We are praying that this series will encourage us all to grow at becoming more purposefully Biblical in thought, attitude and action as members of His Body.  Please join us in prayer as we consider what Christ may want to teach us as He builds His church.  This group Bible study is a great companion or follow-up to Dr. Ranier’s I Am A Church Member.

All adult Sunday School classes will combine and meet in the auditorium at 11:20 am to watch the video and then we will break into discussion groups.

It is not necessary to have a Connected workbook, but they are available for $6.95 (printed or e-book) through Lifeway Stores.
