Who is Membership For?
Whatever your background or interest level, you are always welcome to visit—the doors are open to all. However, to enjoy all God has for you in this or any church, you must be a Christian. That means that at a point in your life you recognized yourself to be a sinner and you need to be saved from your sins. Knowing that you couldn’t pay for your own sins nor satisfy God in any way, you turned in faith to the Lord Jesus and believing God’s Word, accepted His death on the cross as total payment to God for all your sins: past, present, and future. (Romans 3:23-24; 5:1; 6:23; 10:4; Ephesians 2:8-9.)
We believe every visitor to our church is a gift from God, and that every member has God-given gifts to be used in the church. “It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” (Eph 4:11-13, NIV)
