Jason Nightingale coming August 15-18

Jason NightingaleJason Nightingale will be at Christian Fellowship from August 15-18, 2014!  He delivers such passionate, dramatic recitation of Scripture that listeners feel the message come alive as if the Apostles John or Paul were sharing it directly.  Jason, with his wife Sharon, formed Wordsower International that has expanded their ministry of the Word into compassionate action of caring for widows and orphans in Africa, India and Haiti.  All events are free. Show Them Jesus

Show Them Jesus—Teaching the Gospel to Kids
by Jack Klumpenhower

This is a special book for Sunday school teachers and all those who endeavor to reach children for Christ.  Kids curriculum can be moralistic and disconnected, but Mr. Klumpenhower shows how to make Christ and His grace the focal point of your lessons.

New Precept Study-Lamentations

PUP_Cover_Lamentations.indd

To ALL ladies!  You are invited to a short Precept Bible Study!  For three weeks this August, we will drink deeply from the inspired Word of God.  We will study through Lamentations – a story of hope and healing in the aftermath of rebellion against God.   How do people survive when they have no hope?  Where do they turn when there’s nothing but misery all around them?  In whom do you put your trust and hope?  The only true hope Christians have is in the Lord.  Study Lamentations and gain a greater understanding of the God whose compassions never fail.

We will meet at the church on Thursday nights:  August 7th, 14th, and 21st from 7-9 pm.  The cost of the book is $6.75.  Contact Lisa Wenzel or Carol Stanik by July 20th so we can place the book order and pick up your book on Sunday, July 27.  Be ready to discuss the first lesson at 7pm on Thursday, August 7th.   The dog days of summer can be spent in no better way than to be refreshed from the fountain of God’s holy word!  Join us!  If you have any questions, contact Lisa Wenzel at nywenzel@gmail.com.
